This handmade vintage tribal Persian Hamedan runner was hand-knotted in the 1980s. The intricate repeating geometric medallion design is a hallmark of rugs from this region. Beautiful pinwheel flowers, leaves, stars, and countless other details are hand-knotted in variegated shades of blue and pink, filling the runner with intriguing and whimsical patterns. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This runner has been shaved down to a very thin pile for an antique look. It is in great condition and can withstand high traffic.
