This charming handmade vintage Persian Hosseinabad runner is fine quality with a slight irregularity, which makes it a great price.  Handmade by expert tribal weavers, this runner is made with quality wool that creates a full, soft and sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The intricate tribal and floral details surround a sweet central floral medallion in ivory, watermelon pink, pale mint green, taupe, silver and plum.   The garden motifs continue throughout the watermelon pink open field in the same stunning colors, as the backdrop shifts in shades of pink, much as a real watermelon does. The small flowers, lattice motifs and other tribal details will keep you engaged for hours. All colors are made from only natural dyes. The ivory corners echo the floral medallion, and add more saturated shades of pink and mint.  The border is another wonderful feature of this runner - a neutral taupe stripe resplendent with a geometric floral and vine motif in all of the runner's colors. This is surrounded by plum rows of garlands of small colorful flowers in shades of pink and green.  The rug's imperfection lies in the edges, which were cut and given fringe before the pattern was fully completed.
