This is a very fine quality handmade vintage Persian Sarough Lilihan runner in a hard-to-find ivory color. Its allover floral and vine design is based on antique Persian Sarough rug patterns. This rug was hand-knotted with rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Handmade in the 1980s, this runner is in mint condition. It is made with fine quality wool that has a thick, sturdy and soft pile that can handle high traffic and will continue to last for generations.  The abundant floral sprays and bouquets fill the ivory open field in perfect symmetry, a summer garden in full bloom.  The rich colors include shell pink and pink lemonade, azure blue, sapphire blue, gold, crimson, spearmint green, pomegranate, mustard and countless other colors.   All of this is framed by a colorful and charming garland of flowers on the vine in all of the rug's beautiful colors.
