This handmade vintage tribal Persian Bakhtiari rug with a Four Seasons design has flower, tree and garden motifs, a rich color palette and charming details.  This sturdy handmade rug has a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations. The Four Seasons design is a checkerboard pattern in which each square represents one of the four seasons.  In this rug, the squares resemble windows to the garden, with views of the changing seasons through the trees and flowers.  The colors are made from only natural dyes.  Bright cherry red, royal blue, peach, coral, mocha, camel, orange, ivory, heather gray, and countless other colors harmonize beautifully in this pictorial rug.  Trees, exotic flowers, leaves and other geometric patterns are framed by an ivory border with an elegant larger garland of flowers on the vine in the rug's same colors.  You can get lost in the details!
