This is a brand new fine quality rug handmade in India. It has a bold, cheerful palette of primary colors made from only natural dyes and a very thick, full, soft pile that is cushy underfoot, great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.  The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of three diamond medallions run down the center of the rug, hand-knotted in shades of blue -- two royal blue medallions surround a steel blue medallion.  Accent colors for the charming bouquet of small geometric flowers that adorns each one include yellow, red, hunter green, bright white and dusty rose.   The lush cherry backdrop is a striking contrast to the blue medallions. A single row of small charming pinwheel flowers flanks each side of the rug.  They are playful and colorful and lead your eye to the geometric borders and dividing lines in the rug.  The white frame of tribal star flowers that completes the rug has a beautiful pattern, itself surrounded by rows of cross-hatched lines in all of the same colors. The bindings are knotted in blue and red alternating woven sections that add another decorative detail to the rug.  Size: 5'9"x7'10"
