This is a beautiful brand new fine quality handmade Turkish Oushak runner in a hard-to-find narrow size. It has a full soft pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last for generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and quality wool.  The allover geometric design is a hallmark of contemporary Oushak rugs, derived from antique Turkish Oushak designs that date back to the Ottoman Empire.   The series of five medallions that run down the center of the runner alternate between square and circular designs in soft, neutral shades of pale sky blue, sand, silver, sage green, midnight blue, burgundy and white.  The backdrop is peach with small tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors. The border is a white frame with a geometric repeat of burgundy, midnight blue and silver motifs.  All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Note the charming decorative detail along the binding, with midnight blue small stripes along the peach edge.  This versatile size and cheerful color palette makes the rug perfect for entries and bathrooms, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc.  Size: 2'2"x6'9"
