This contemporary tribal rug is a handmade Turkish Oushak. It's a modern rug whose design is based on antique Persian Heriz rug patterns that date back centuries with geometric, nomadic patterns and bold medallions.  This rug has a soft, thick pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The intricacy of the details and the unique color combinations make this rug quite special.   The backdrop is grass green with a slight teal undertone. The delicate floral medallion and primary accent color is lavender, with additional highlights in bright lemon yellow, white, pale yellow, deep orange, lemonade pink, silver and other colors made from only natural dyes. They create an abundant array of intricate, small tribal flower and leaf, plant and garden motifs that fill the green field with color and design.  The bright white border has a complementary design of flowers and plants that resemble arrows in the same wonderful colors of the rug. Great for bedsides, entryways, kids rooms, nurseries, hallways, kitchens and other high traffic areas!
