This is a beautiful fine quality brand new handmade Turkish Oushak rug with spectacular tribal details and geometric designs based on the Persian Heriz. It was handmade by expert Turkish weavers using quality wool  for a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The bold geometric medallion design with an open field is based on antique oriental rug patterns that date back over a century.  The prominent central medallion is the floral heart of the rug, starting with its rose gold, ivory, mocha and cornflower blue petals with charcoal, red and white accents, surrounded by a midnight blue and then black layer which leads to the prominent red open field.  Delicate tribal flower, leaf, star and other geometric designs adorn the open field in all of the colors of the rug. Cornflower blue returns for the final layer of the rug's pattern, continuing the tribal designs of plants and flowers.  All colors are made from only natural dyes. The ivory border provides the final frame, lightening and brightening the rug and picking up on the ivory accents.  A larger tribal floral and vine motif in the same colors of the rug. is itself framed by thin repeating charming motifs in all of the rugs' colors.
