This vintage handmade Turkish Kilim accent rug is a true gem.  The charming floral design is quite unique for a kilim, which is a flat weave rug with a thin pile that is almost the same from the front and back.  Tribal in its geometric and rustic design, this series of large bright and bold floral medallions is softened by the small pink and green buds that fill the ivory backdrop.  So many colors are packed into this small package --midnight blue, hunter and lime green, bubble gum pink, royal blue, turquoise, mustard, burgundy, champagne, orange, white and red harmonize beautifully to create nig flowers and a series of thin ribbons of color and design to frame the piece. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Flat weave rugs have a thin pile, a signature of Kilims, but this rug is still great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  Size: 3'7"x5'9"
