It follows the pattern of the inside of a mosque's cupola, shaped like beautiful leaves surrounding a flower in perfect symmetry.  Rich ruby pink is the rug's background color, the perfect setting for the intricate medallion in dramatic midnight blue, so dark it appears almost black.  Rich shades of turquoise, fuchsia, gold, silver, teal blue, ocean blue, olive, lemonade pink, white, chartreuse and countless others  are hand-knotted in exquisite detail to form the luxurious flower medallion and its adornments of small flowers and petals/leaves.  These colors continue throughout the rug's ruby pink field in swirling floral sprays and bouquets of flowers on the vine.   The medallion colors and flower design are echoed in the four corners, creating perfect symmetry and harmony.  The midnight blue border has a gorgeous design, an elegant repeat of flowers and elongated medallions in all of the rug's colors, surrounded by tiny flower details.  The rug has a full, soft and sturdy pile  that can withstand high traffic and will last for generations.
