This Persian Nain is one of the finest rugs in our entire collection. It is perfect for a great room, a grand living room, dining room or bedroom, a large office or even a lobby. It is a traditional vintage Nain handmade of fine silk and fine wool with a high knot count (KPSI, knots per square inch) for exquisite precision and superior craftsmanship.  This rug was handmade in the 1970s, likely for a palace or aristocracy. It is in true mint condition. The rug's phenomenally detailed floral and vine patterns surround the spectacular central medallion and fill the rug's field and borders with their intricate beauty. The lush crimson background is an elegant setting for the blue and white precious jewel of a medallion.  Bone, heather gray,midnight blue, royal blue, cornflower blue and plum create the central spectacular design.  The crimson open field and and the complementary ibone, white, blue and gray border are adorned with perfectly symmetrical flowers, petals, floral sprays and bouquets in the same colors of the medallion, adding a vibrant pistachio green to the color palette.
