This is a show-stopper of a runner, a vintage handmade Persian Zanjan in mint condition with brilliant colors and tribal details on a lush red open field.  This is a very fine quality rug, with high quality wool and fine and precise details from its high knot count for such a tribal rug.  The chic red open field creates a dramatic backdrop for the floral medallions that run down the center of the runner in spectacular and vivid colors.  The lush red walkway hosts a series of tribal floral medallions in a bright royal blue that appears violet against the red, coral, fruit punch, carnation pink, orange, peach and silver, all punctuated by black and bright white, which lightens and brightens the rug. White frames the black border as well in a small repeating wave like motif. The black border has a beautiful flower and vine pattern in the same beautiful pinks and blues.  Hand-knotted in the 1970's, this runner is in mint condition, has a soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last generations.
