Hand-knotted of 100% lambs wool, this rug has a soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The overall pattern is a repeating tribal motif known as "elephant foot", a hallmark of Turkeman rugs. Woven onto a strawberry red backdrop, the pattern is hand-knotted not only in the typical colors of red, black and white, but also in golden yellow, indigo blue and burgundy, which makes this rug somewhat uniquely colorful.
