This handmade colorful vintage Persian Tabriz is a true gem in mint condition. The rug is extremely fine quality, made with a very high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for incredibly precise details.  It was also made with fine quality wool, natural dyes and exquisite craftsmanship.  This design has the most exquisite intricate details in a glorious array of rainbow colors, with concentric layers leading to a central medallion. It is a classic traditional oriental rug design. Creamy ivory is the backdrop of the central medallion, repeating again as a layer before the border.  Layers of crimson and royal blue create the background for the prominent central design and border, richly colored canvases for tiny repeating floral and other delicate motifs in more colors than we could possibly name: aquamarine, sapphire, ballet slipper pink, orange, teal, mustard, lime green, sky blue, olive, lemonade pink and countless others.  Lime green corners draw your eye to the border, edged with thin rows of ivory, sapphire and burnt orange, the crimson border brings the rug together perfectly with the same intricate colorful designs.  This rug becomes even more stunning as you get closer, and the photos don't do it justice.  Size: 3'4"x4'10'
