This is a brand new handmade Persian Shiraz Qashqai Kilim tribal rug.  Its geometric allover design is a hallmark of Kilim rugs. This rug is exceptionally detailed, with brilliant and hard to find colors in patterns that harmonize beautifully.  These rich colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Magenta, emerald green, teal, sapphire blue, strawberry red, ivory, plum, tangerine, midnight blue and chocolate pop in bursts of color, hand-knotted to create stripes, waves, diamonds, flowers and other intricate tribal motifs that fill the rug with pattern.  The charming tiny flowers fill the designs throughout the rug and the ample borders.  The border is a special feature of the rug,  alternating stripes and zigzags of all the colors with tiny flowers in abundance.  Flat weave and thin pile, also typical of Kilims, this rug is still great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  Size: 5'5"x8'
