This vintage fine quality Persian Shiraz Qashqai rug has spectacular tribal animal details and brilliant colors. It was handmade in the 1980's and is in truly mint condition.  The striking geometric design of a highly detailed pattern of charming jewel tone animals rests on an ivory background. Three diamond medallions in navy blue and crimson are at the center of the rug, surrounded by tiny animals, flowers, trees and paisleys that jump from the rug in a rich array of vibrant rainbow colors: turquoise, hunter green, goldenrod, orange, crimson, yellow, navy blue, periwinkle blue, lime green, charcoal, peach and countless others, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Animals resemble peacocks and other exotic birds, along with four-legged animals of all shapes and sizes.
