This vintage fine quality Persian Shiraz Qashqai rug has spectacular tribal details and brilliant colors. It was handmade in the 1980's and is in truly mint condition.  The striking geometric design has a highly detailed pattern of charming small colorful flowers and tribal animals.  A lush carpet of royal blue creates the canvas, framed by a thick coral necklace and bordered by a spectacular series of colorful repeating small geometric motifs.  Three white diamond medallions are at the center of the rug, surrounded by tiny flowers/stars/snowflakes that jump from the rug in a luscious array of pastel and spring colors that look like so many candies good enough to eat!  Every color is represented, from teal, turquoise, aquamarine, mint green, hunter green, to purple, pink, sky blue, cornflower blue, periwinkle blue, peach, taupe and so many others.  The happy tribal animals at either end are also hand-knotted in these same vibrant colors. The coral frame has a delicate string of white daisies.  The incredible border is a series of thin rows of endless colors and tiny tribal motifs that brings together all of the colors of the rug in a beautiful harmonious finish.  All the colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Great for high traffic areas, this rug has a very sturdy and finely made pile that is extremely soft and supple and th finethick.  It will continue to last for generations.
