The high quality wool is soft underfoot and the fine craftsmanship make for vivid and precise details hand-knotted on a lush bright red open field. A central medallion of a diamond nesting within five geometric colorful layers is the focal point of the rug.  An ivory center with small flowers and hunter green leaves leads to a red diamond which gives way to a hunter green hexagon rimmed in thin rows of red and sky blue, followed by a layer of milk chocolate, then black and whitethin rows that lead to the star of the show, a thick bright royal blue hexagon adorned with t,iny colorful flowers in orange, sky bluem white, red and hunter green. This dramatic medallion is surrounded by charming colorful flowers in a tribal design, made up of all of the colors of the rug and decorating the red open field. The border is a row of geometric tiny flowers in all of the rug's colors, providing a happy frame for this little gem.
