This is a beautiful and unique handmadePersian Senneh kilim tribal rug.  Its geometric design is full of tribal details in a hard-to-find color palette.  These rich and simultaneously soft colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The central medallion is salmon pink, silver, mint green, charcoal, Tiffany blue, punctuated with black and white.  This is surrounded by a soft mint green rectangle with symmetrical geometric motifs in pale pink, sapphire blue, merlot and silver. These motifs resemble pyramids and other incredible intricate symbol, some of them known as ram's horns, an important recognition of the role these animals play in many tribes.  The next layer is the border, framed by silver rows of repeating geometric motifs in indigo, merlot, pink and silver. The border is a thick merlot frame with intriguing geometric motifs in all of the colors of the rug. Flat weave and thin pile, also typical of kilims, this rug is still great for high traffic areas and will last generations. Sure to make a statement!  Size: 7'10"x9'10"
