This is a fine quality vintage handmade Persian Senneh in mint condition.  It is full of intricate tribal and geometric repeating motifs in concentric layers of royal blue, strawberry red and ivory backgrounds.  There is a prominent medallion that fills the rug all the way to the borders  The central hexagonal shape is royal blue, hand-knotted with lattice like patterns and other small and delicate motifs in lemonade pink, coral, ivory, rust and lavender with black accents. The next layer is red, creating an intriguing geometric shape that leads to the next ivory layer.  Both the red and ivory layers have the similar small repeating geometric motifs in the same colors.  Midnight blue fills out the next layer including the corners,continuing with the small repeating motifs throughout. The final frame is the spectacular border with its red backdrop and a beautiful repeating larger geometric design in all of the colors of the rug, which are all made from only natural dyes. The final edge of the rug is royal blue with a charming small flower repeat in pink and ivory.  This fine vintage piece has a thin even pile that is sturdy and can withstand high traffic. It will continue to last for generations. The rug's almost square size makes it highly versatile for entryways, bedsides, living rooms and offices.  Size: 4'5"x6'3"
