This handmade high quality small Persian Sarough accent rug is a hard to find (almost) square.  The intricate tribal, floral and geometric design fills the rug with tiny flowers and other delicate motifs.  The ivory background of the large central medallion encompasses a small royal blue & midnight blue medallion, all of which is framed by strawberry red corners and a rich royal blue border with a geometric pattern of flowers on the vine. Each layer of the medallion has its own detailed repeating floral motifs in wonderful shades of shell pink and sapphire blue, olive green and fern green, royal blue, fruit punch, and countless other colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This rug has a sturdy pile and expert craftsmanship. It can withstand high traffic and will last generations. It's small square size makes it highly versatile -- draped over a chair or couch, hung as a tapestry, placed at a bedside or a stair landing or an entryway, even your bathroom or kitchen.  Note that the edges aren't perfectly symmetrical in size, and that one side is bound in white stitching while the other has a traditional small fringe.
