This handmade charming vintage Persian Sarough Mir runner was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition. The allover repeating intricate paisley (known as boteh) design is actually made up of sapphire, yellow, black and shell pink on a bright watermelon red background. The border is particularly striking and playful on this runner - an ivory frame of intricate and intriguing geometric details of tribal figures and flowers and other motifs in the same bright colors of the paisleys along with purple, mint green and azure blue, surrounded by rows of colorful small geometric designs. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This runner is perfect for high traffic areas and anywhere you want to add color and softness underfoot.
