This is a vintage handmade very fine quality Persian Sarough Mahal runner in mint condition with a dense and sturdy pile and fine quality wool.  This runner is made with superior craftsmanship, is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The swirling geometric floral and vine motifs that create the elegant allover design are hand-knotted in fine detail and striking colors, revolving around a delicate central flower medallion in white, crimson, royal blue, turquoise, mint green, pale yellow, pink and gold.  The backdrop is a deep, rich royal blue.  The flowers and vines that intertwine in an endless and beautiful display are a symphony of colors.  All of the medallion colors are part of the runner's ample floral motifs, adding hunter green, burnt orange, teal, sea green, azure blue, copper, fern green, peach and countless other colors to the palette and creating a Spring garden in full bloom.  The azure blue corners and the crimson border have their own complementary designs of flowers on the vine in the same wonderful colors, all made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.  Size: 3'5"x10'4"
