This handmade vintage floral Persian Sarough Mahal runner has elegant flower detailing and incredibly rich colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. It was hand-knotted in the 1980s and is in mint condition.  The rug's intricate floral sprays and bouquets revolve symmetrically around a stunning, delicate central medallion in lemonade pink, ivory and coral with intricate details in turquoise, sea green, gold, azure blue, cerise pink, midnight blue, pale peach, boysenberry and almond.   The runner's lush backdrop is a deep midnight blue, the perfect setting for the elegant flowers, leaves and petals hand-knotted in the same beautiful array of soft and pleasing colors of the medallion, adding mint green, shell pink, cornflower blue, dusty rose and countless others.  All of this is framed by a charming border of small flowers in every color of the rug on an ivory stripe, surrounded by cranberry stripes with small circles in the same colors.  This runner is handmade with a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 3'7"x9'7"
