This is a stunning vintage handmade very fine quality Persian Sarough Mahal runner in mint condition with a thick, dense, supple and soft pile made from fine quality wool.  This runner is made with superior craftsmanship, is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The repeating floral and vine motifs that create the elegant allover design are hand-knotted in striking colors against the backdrop of deep, rich royal blue.  The flowers and vines that intertwine in an endless and beautiful display are a symphony of pinks and blues.  Ocean blue, sapphire and azure blue intertwine with ballet slipper pink, fruit punch, dusty rose, silver and white, taupe and countless other shades to create a garden in full bloom with every flower imaginable.  The border is a shade of rose pink closest to fruit punch or cerise, with a complementary ribbon of flowers on the vine in the same wonderful colors, edged by rows of sapphire blue.  All colors are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.  Size: 3'8"x11'2"
