This is a vintage handmade fine quality Persian Sarough Mahal runner in mint condition with a thick full pile and fine quality wool.  This runner is made with superior craftsmanship, is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The swirling geometric floral and vine motifs that create the elegant design are hand-knotted in fine detail and striking colors, revolving around a delicate central flower medallion in raspberry, white, carnation pink, azure blue, royal blue and yellow.  The backdrop is a deep, rich royal blue.  The flowers and vines that intertwine in an endless and beautiful display are a symphony of colors.  The colors of the medallion are the runner's ample floral motifs, creating a Spring garden in full bloom, with pops of unexpected yellow to brighten and lighten the pattern. The white corners also add to the lightness of the runner, and the raspberry border is the perfect frame.  Thin blue and white rows frame the border, with its own floral and vine garland to complement the runner's design. All colors are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.
