This is a vintage handmade very fine quality Persian Sarough Mahal runner in mint condition with a thick, dense and soft pile that is cushy underfoot, made from fine quality wool.  This runner is handmade with superior craftsmanship, which makes it great for high traffic areas and it will last generations.  The repeating floral and vine motifs that create the elegant design revolves around a delicate central medallion in fruit punch with Tiffany blue, shell pink, white, royal blue, dusty rose and taupe flowers.  The runner's backdrop is a deep, rich royal blue.  The flowers and vines that intertwine in an endless and beautiful display are a symphony of pinks and blues, the same colors of the medallion, all hand-knotted in exquisite detail, almost as if it is painted by hand.  This runner is a garden in full bloom.  The border returns to the fruit punch color of the medallion, with a complementary ribbon of flowers on the vine in the same wonderful colors, all made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.  Size: 3'9"x10'10"
