This is a vintage handmade very fine quality Persian Sarough Mahal runner in mint condition with a full, soft pile made from fine quality wool.  This runner is handmade with superior craftsmanship, which makes it great for high traffic areas and it will last generations.  The unique design has elegant floral and vine motifs, along with whimsical paisleys and other intriguing designs, all of which  revolves around delicate central medallions of flower sprays and bouquets and beautiful small peach birds on either end.   The colors are stunning, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The royal blue background is a lush setting for the flowers and birds in aquamarine, coral, rose pink, shell pink, teal, silver, white, turquoise, sky blue, magenta, fruit punch and countless others.  They intertwine in an endless and beautiful display in a symphony of pinks and blues.  This runner is a tropical sea or a fantastical garden in full bloom.  The pink coral border is a complementary ribbon of flowers on the vine in the same wonderful colors, surrounded by turquoise and white.  Size: 4'2"x10'
