This antique handmade Persian Sarough Farahan dates back to the 1880's.  This museum piece is in excellent condition.  An elegant, timeless rug, hand-knotted as part of a small batch of production which makes it a rare gem in muted blues and corals, with black, rose and faded gold. Pictures and words do not do it justice.  Colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  This rug has an even low pile throughout.  Size: 9'8''x 12'9''
