This is a vintage mint condition handmade Persian Sarough accent rug with a traditional floral & medallion design. Hand-knotted by master weavers using high quality wool, this rug has a high knot count (KPSI, knots per square inch), & extremely fine craftsmanship. It was woven in the 1970's using only vegetable & other natural dyes to create ivory, pomegranate red, midnight blue, sapphire, sky blue, pink, olive and hunter green.
