This is a fine quality handmade Pakistani rug. The design is based on a classic antique Persian Heriz rug with a large central medallion.  It is hand-knotted with a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch), fine wool and superior craftsmanship.  The fine details in floral and tribal motifs within a broader geometric frame are elegant and refined. Teal green is the backdrop for beautiful accents in slate gray, periwinkle, olive green, pink, dusty rose and other colors around a rich cranberry center. Colors are made from only natural dyes.
