This is a gorgeous handmade fine quality vintage Persian Najafabad with stunning details and rich colors.  Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug is in mint condition with a full soft pile. The central medallion, the classic floral and vine details and the complementary border are beautifully hand-knotted in shades of blue and ivory with vibrant colorful accents all on a lush crimson red background.  The medallion  - bursts forth in an incredible array of colors that harmonize exquisitely in azure blue, powder blue and midnight blue with sage green, lime green, white, ivory, orange, ballet slipper pink, purple, and countless other colors. The gorgeous floral sprays and bouquets dance in the same beautiful colors, adding turquoise and magenta to the color palette.  The midnight blue border, framed in thin rows of ivory and azure, has a complementary larger floral and vine pattern that completes the elegant rug's design. All of these colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This rug is made with fine quality wool.
