This semi-antique Persian Nain is known as a Habibian because it was woven in the 1970's by the master weaver Fatollah Habibi (1903-1995). Habibian is known as the father of Nain rugs and one of the city of Nain's best weavers. Persian Nain Habibian rugs feature outstanding designs and construction and are very prestigious. This one is woven on a silk base with the finest Manchester wool (also known as 'kork') and silk accents.
