It is known as a "6 LA" (meaning layer), which is one of the finer calibers of Nain rugs. The rug's exquisitely detailed floral and vine patterns surround the central medallion and fill the rug's field and borders with their intricate, swirling beauty. The ivory background is an elegant setting for the medallion and borders adorned in floral details and fluorishes in midnight blue, royal blue, steel blue, Carolina blue, silver, white, taupe, chocolate and burgundy, all made of only vegetable and other natural dyes.
