Yellow Flowers

This fine quality vintage midnight blue Persian Nahavand runner was handmade with an allover tribal design full of intricate details that fill the rug with pattern and color.  Nahavand is a village in NW Iran, near Hamedan, known for its very fine quality tribal rugs hand-knotted on floor looms. This runner is made with fine quality wool that is great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations. It is also made with fine knots for precise, sharp details and colors that pop.  The lush midnight blue background is an elegant setting for the highly detailed accents and geometric motifs that repeat symmetrically throughout the rug. Hand-knotted in pale orange, sapphire, walnut, white, shell pink, raspberry sorbet, sky blue, indigo, and royal blue, they fill the runner with geometric details.  The white border lightens and brightens the runner. Framed by two thin mulberry rows with charming small flowers on the vine in pale pink and blue, the white border has an intriguing row of geometric motifs that resemble colorful flowers on the vine in all the wonderful colors of the runner.  Size: 3'5"x10'1"
