This fine quality vintage blue small Persian Nahavand was handmade by expert tribal weavers with an allover geometric design full of intricate details that fill the rug with pattern and color.  The rug is made with fine quality wool that is soft and thick underfoot, great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations.   The background is an elusive shade of blue that appears midnight blue, indigo or navy blue depending on the light.  This lush blue background is the perfect setting for the detailed accents and geometric motifs that repeat symmetrically throughout the rug. Hand-knotted in bright red, royal blue, pale yellow and bright yellow, raspberry pink, burgundy and walnut, they fill the rug with intriguing details.  The red border has its own complementary tribal designs in the same rich colors, preceded by a thin ribbon of raspberry pink with tiny colorful flowers on the vine.
