This gorgeous and extremely unique vintage fine quality handmade Persian Meshkin runner is a show-stopper! Handmade with high quality soft lambswool and fine craftsmanship, this rug has a soft and sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The runner also has a high knot count, or KPSI (knots per square inch), which makes for very precise and crisp details.  The tribal and geometric allover design is unlike any other in our collection, an elegant repeating pendant motif interspersed with tribal flowers and vases of bouquets.  The color combination is also unique and stunning - a dramatic black backdrop with pendants of shell pink, coral, ivory, candy apple red, cherry red, sapphire blue, bright pink, gold, copper, lemonade pink and countless others.  These rich, luminous colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  This rug has remarkably intricate detailing, within and surrounding the pendants, and beautifully displayed in the border, a special feature of the runner.  Three rows of colorful tribal flower garlands and paisleys (known as botehs) frame the rug on a red, blue and gold backdrop.
