This is a stunning top quality vintage handmade Persian Meshkin runner with a tribal floral allover design in mint condition. This runner is hand-knotted with fine craftsmanship by expert tribal weavers, using fine quality wool that creates a thick, sturdy and soft pile that is cushy underfoot, can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The detailed flower, leaf and vine motifs are crisp and precise, thanks to the high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch).  The flowers are geometric, running symmetrically throughout the entire strawberry red open field in gorgeous saturated colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes: hunter green, pale lavender blue, salmon pink, silver, white, mustard yellow, coffee, camel, yellow and fruit punch pink. The complementary border is a deep midnight blue, with a garland of flowers and vines in the same colors of the runner, framed by a charming row of smaller flowers on the vine on a camel backdrop.
