This striking vintage handmade Persian Koliai runner is handmade of the finest quality wool that gives it a soft full pile, great for high traffic areas.  It will last for generations.  The runner is in mint condition and hand-knotted with a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for very fine and crisp lines. The bold geometric repeating diamond pattern runs the length of the runner, hand-knotted in strawberry red against navy blue with a brilliant array of accent colors.  The intricate details and diamonds within diamonds are shell pink, teal blue, fruit punch, cerise pink, hot pink, midnight blue, pale sky blue, camel, hunter green, white and other striking colors that continue along the edges of the runner all the way to the border in a spectacular and dizzying array of pattern and color.  The border is a particularly intriguing feature of the rug with its repeating intricate geometric design that resemble hierogyphics in many of the rug's beautiful colors against a white backdrop.  This border is framed by thin charming garlands of small colorful flowers on the vine against royal blue.  Size: 3'7"x10'2"
