This fine quality vintage Persian Koliai runner was handmade with an allover tribal & geometric design with intricate details that fill the rug with pattern and color. The rug is made with fine quality wool that is soft and supple and also sturdy so it is great for high traffic areas and will continue to last generations.  The crimson red background is the setting for the highly detailed accents and geometric motifs that are hand-knotted with tribal artistry.  Three lemonade pink medallions run down the center of the runner and serve as the focal points for the allover design.  They are adorned and surrounded with small and charming tribal flowers and other motifs in a wide array of striking colors: shell pink, royal blue, aquamarine, indigo blue, almond, burgundy, orange, spearmint and countless others.  The border is another intriguing feature, framing the rug with a bright white row of colorful geometric motifs that resemble hieroglyphics.
