This is a very elegant runner, a unique vintage handmade Persian Koliai in mint condition with vivid colors and tribal details on a subtle, neutral backdrop. The chic small repeating diamond pattern in sand and ivory, with fruit punch and green small flowers/ribbons, creates a neutral and elegant allover design - a lush, long walkway framed in the most spectacular bright colors in an architectural design that resembles an arched doorway. The raspberry corners are lush and full of charming small flowers, while the border consists of thick bright raspberry ribbons with emerald green details surrounding a champagne stripe with intriguing tribal and geometric designs in a beautiful array of colors that almost resemble hieroglyphics.  Sapphire blue, orange, carnation pink, royal blue, emerald green and countless other colors fill the border, creating playful and charming shapes that enliven the rug.  Hand-knotted in the 1980's, this runner is in mint condition, has a soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
