This is an elegant vintage handmade fine quality Persian Koliai  in mint condition. The chic small repeating diamond pattern is the shade of beach sand with ivory accents and small flowers of rosewood pink, red and bright blue with forest green diagonal lines, which creates the neutral backdrop for a stunning central floral medallion and matching corners in spectacular colors.  The gorgeous flower in full bloom at the center of the rug is hand-knotted in rich shades of cerise pink, carnation pink and violet blue with touches of silver, turquoise, white and sapphire blue. These colors are echoed in the rich floral corners with intricate finely woven details of small flowers and geometric motifs that rest on cerise pink, adding orange, sea green and steel blue to the wonderful color palette.  The border is cerise pink with a geometric pattern of leaves and small intermittent flowers in all of the runner's rich colors, framed by ribbons of violet blue with charming colorful small flowers on the vine. This creates a very luxurious rug in both look and feel.  Hand-knotted in the 1980's, this runner is in mint condition, has a soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
