The chic small repeating diamond pattern is hand-knotted on a copper and ivory backdrop, separated by midnight blue lines and tiny flowers of rosewood pink and sapphire. This creates the backdrop for a dramatic central geometric medallion and matching corners.  The tribal heart of the rug is the central flower, hand-knotted in midnight blue, ivory and shell pink with stunning large cerise pink petals, adorned with small flowers in silver, taupe, ivory, pale peach, lemonade pink, charcoal and lavender.  These colors are echoed in the rich corners with complementary intricate details of geometric flowers.  The border is another special feature of the rug with its striking geometric pattern resembling small intermittent flowers in all the wonderful and unique colors of the rug on midnight blue, framed by two ribbons of cerise pink with charming garlands of tiny flowers on the vine.  Hand-knotted in the 1980's, this rug is in mint condition.
