The chic small repeating diamond pattern is champagne with ivory, separated by thin navy blue lines and tiny flowers of rosewood and pink coral. This creates the backdrop for a dramatic central geometric medallion and matching corners.  The tribal heart of the rug is star-like geometric flower, hand-knotted in rust, the palest shade of shell pink, and an inky indigo blue, adorned with small flowers in royal blue and rust, shell pink and olive green, taupe and yellow, with chartreuse, white and peach accents.  These colors are echoed in the rich corners with intricate finely woven details of geometric flowers and animals.  The indigo blue border has a striking geometric pattern with small intermittent flowers in all the wonderful and unique colors of the rug, framed by two thin ribbons of charming tiny flowers on the vine.  Hand-knotted in the 1980's, this rug is in mint condition.
