Hand-knotted by master weavers, the rug is made from the highest quality wool that comes from the softest parts of the lamb. The pile is thick and soft, while sturdy enough to withstand high traffic and last for generations.  It is handmade with superior craftsmanship and only natural dyes. The traditional floral and medallion design is exquisitely woven in intricate details by hand.  The colors of the rug embody the timeless classic of blue and white, with a midnight blue backdrop and accent colors of periwinkle blue, powder blue, Tiffany blue, turquoise, golden yellow, crimson, lime green, teal, sapphire and countless others, all punctuated by white.  The spectacular and somewhat unique large flower medallion is the focal point of the rug with a design similar to Chinese oriental rug motifs.  The floral and vine designs radiate throughout the midnight blue open field in all of the  accent colors, swirling with perfectly symmetrical floral sprays and bouquets of flowers on the vine.  The border is a perfect compliment to the rug, a highly decorative large midnight blue frame with a gorgeous garland of flowers and leaves and elegant flourishes, itself framed by Tiffany blue and white rows of smaller flowers on the vine.  Size: 11'3"x14'3"
