This is a stunning new handmade traditional Persian Kashmar of the finest quality. Hand-knotted by master weavers, the rug is made from the highest quality wool that comes from the softest parts of the lamb. The pile is thick and soft, while sturdy enough to withstand high traffic and last for generations.  It is handmade with superior craftsmanship and only natural dyes. The traditional floral and medallion design is exquisitely woven in intricate details by hand.  The colors of the rug embody the timeless classic of blue and white, with a midnight blue backdrop and accent colors of cornflower blue, powder blue, Tiffany blue, moss green, pale lemon yellow, mauve, spearmint, copper, olive green, lavender, marigold, sea green and countless others, all punctuated by ecru and white.  The spectacular large medallion is the focal point of the rug with multiple layers starting with mint green followed by a layer of mauve, leading to the cornflower blue final layer, each one adorned with delicate floral motifs.  The intricate floral and vine designs radiate throughout the midnight blue open field in all of the  accent colors, swirling with perfectly symmetrical floral sprays and bouquets of flowers on the vine.The corners echo the medallion perfectly with mauve and cornflower blue section full of the same flowers and colors.  The border is a perfect compliment to the rug, a midnight blue frame with a beautiful garland of flowers and leaves and elegant flourishes, itself framed by thin rows of mauve and cornflower blue with smaller flowers on the vine.
