This rug was hand-knotted with the finest quality wool made from the softest parts of the lamb, a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for precise and fine details and superb craftsmanship.  The midnight blue backdrop is host to an abundant display of elegant floral sprays and bouquets in exquisite detail with gorgeous accent colors of periwinkle blue, ivory, tangerine, yellow, crimson, mint green, olive, rust, and cornflower blue, all colors made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The flowers and vines revolve around a gorgeous central medallion, the floral heart of the rug in all of the same colors, with periwinkle blue the most prominent among them.  The medallion is surrounded in perfect symmetry with the incredible floral detailing.
