Handmade fine quality vintage Persian Kashmar rug. Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug is like new and in mint condition. A traditional floral and vine with a central medallion design is beautifully hand-knotted on a cerise background (a beautiful shade of pink) with midnight blue & turquoise medallion and borders. The flowers come alive in chartreuse, sapphire, cornflower blue, azure, periwinkle blue, mint green, gold, pale yellow, ivory, peach, ballet slipper pink and and countless other colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This rug is made with fine quality wool that has a sheen to it in the light. The sturdy and soft pile can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
