This handmade fine quality vintage Persian Kashmar has spectacular colors and a thick, soft pile that you can sink your feet into.  Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug is like new and in mint condition.  A traditional floral and vine with a central medallion design is expertly hand-knotted on a rich, saturated raspberry background with gorgeous shades of sapphire and sky blue, sage green and fern green, periwinkle and midnight blue forming the stunning medallion and borders. The flowers fill the open field in sprays and delicate bouquets that come alive in all of the colors mentioned above, plus turquoise, camel, carnation pink, teal, copper, sand, olive green, blue, azure, periwinkle blue, ivory and countless other colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The elegant midnight blue border has a larger floral and vine pattern in the same exquisite colors, framed by thin rows of sapphire with their own charming small flowers on the vine.  This rug is made with fine quality wool that has a sturdy and soft pile.
