This rug is a museum quality piece - an extremely high quality Kashan rug made of Manchester Wool, also known as kork, the wool that comes from the softest parts of a lamb. It is a signed piece, which means the weaver's name is woven into the rug (see close-up picture). This is the signature of one of Iran's master weavers and this signature indicates exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The Kashan has a stunning traditional central medallion and matching corners. The background is ivory and the floral and vine design is woven in teal, sage, sky blue, mint, cranberry and countless other colors that harmonize beautifully in this delicate design. Size: 9'8"x11'9"
